Prayer in Action on Gun Violence, Feb. 20, 9:30am, Rm 129 Capitol Annex, Frankfort

“Thoughts and Prayers” alone mean nothing in the wake of nearly 400 children and teenagers killed THIS YEAR SO FAR by gun violence. Join Kentucky Council of Churches President, Rev. Kent Gilbert, local church leaders, Moms Demand Action volunteers, and experts in the field of sensible legislation that can help. We’ll pray then help everyone advocate with legislators to open the eyes of those who can help us all save lives. Not sure how to help? Come and join others speaking out of Love. Music by Mitch and Melody Barrett will help us gather our spirits for this important work.

Follow I-75 N and I-64 W to US-127 N/Lawrenceburg Rd in Franklin County. Take exit 53B from I-64 W (61.5 mi). Continue on US-127 N/Lawrenceburg Rd. Take Louisville Rd to Capital Ave in Frankfort. There is street parking, but also a free parking structure on the far side of the annex after you enter the capitol grounds. Limited public parking is available in the farthest rows on the surface level. More spaces are found on the lower levels 4, and 5. Enter the center doors of the annex (not the building with the dome). Follow signs to room 129!
