Les Small Stokes’ Ordination – Photos and a Note from Les

Dear beloved Union Church family,

I want to thank you for your prayers, presence, and assistance with crafting and fulfilling my ordination service last month. Getting to that point was a labor of love and it was a delight to be able to celebrate with you. You are all very dear to me and I’m grateful to be a part of your church family. Thank you to Joan English, Kent Gilbert, Bernardo Scarambone, Al White, Alice White, Ruth McLain Smith, Deborah Payne, Rob Hayden, and Diana Hultgren for your assistance leading and crafting the worship experience. A very special thanks to the Nurture and Care Team: Mary Lou Wiese, Laura Nagle, Susie Ritchie, Betty Hibler, Melissa Neal, Donna Abner and many, many others who provided such a beautiful spread of food. You continue to teach me what it is to be church.
