Food Waste and Care: How Can Union Church Help?

Food waste has become an enormous problem in our country, and the EPA has come up with a challenge for us to reduce this waste.  Many of churches have ministries that feed the hungry and care for the homeless and poor, just like Jesus taught us.  How could Union Church couple these two initiatives?
