Choirs of the Church Concert May 20, 2 pm

Union Church Chancel Choir Invited to Perform at Carnegie Hall With Composer Mark Hayes

Union Church youth creates award-winning documentary!

Ben Whaley-Jones, one of our amazing youth leaders, was part of a team at the Appalachian Media Institute that created this 13-minute documentary on Black Lung Disease; it has been nominated to go to the Sundance Film Festival!  We had technical difficulties screening it today in church, but you can see it here!!  We’re so more »

In Memoriam: Andy Blyth

I write with the sad news that our beloved bard and troubadour, Andy Blyth died early this morning (July 27, 2017) at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. Andy had been hospitalized with breathing difficulties that turned out to be problems with two valves of his heart, one of which eventually sealed closed.  Sue and more »

Sacred Threads Open House July 30, 2-4 pm
