Union Church is an active supporter of Luther Luckett Christian Church, one of a very few congregations that operate completely behind locked bars. Our intrepid mission team left Berea at 6am for their trip to Back Bay Mission in Biloxi, MS! They will be working both on hurricane recovery and assistance with homeless families. They’ll keep you updated throughout the trip, and they covet your prayers for both their safety and well-being of those they serve.
On Wednesday, September 19, 2012, Sam Mutua of Church World Service-Kenya will offer a presentation in response to the support given through the United Church of Christ and the Disciples of Christ “Mission: 1” efforts.
