Prayer for the Week — March 24th

God who endures all suffering, we lift up to you all those who are sick and hurting in our community.  We lift up to you, who challenged the powers that be, all those who are in power, that they may be guided by love and compassion toward peace with justice. We lift up to you, the God of celebration, those things in our hearts and communities that give us great and enduring joy.  And finally, we lift up ourselves, in all our follies and misguided desires, and in all our great hopes for drawing closer to you.  Walk with us, as we walk with you this week, into Jerusalem.
