Prayer of the Week — Nov. 11th

In a week of homecoming, we were reminded of an image of God who came to us in Jesus in order to bring us home to God.  Here is a prayer for this week.  Blessings on you all.  — Rev. Rachel

God, who entered into full humanity in order to bring us closer to divinity, enter our hearts today.  Where there is pain and suffering, bring the comfort of friends, family, and support.  Where there is aching and sorrow, bring compassion and mercy.  Where there is joy, bring the ability to share it with others.  Where there is blessing, bring gratitude.  Fill us today with your divine Spirit, that we may each become blessings to those around us, and that we may have the grace to be blessed by those around us, too.  Amen.
